How does the 10% commission work?
When a passenger books your trip, we automatically track 10% as a platform fee. You keep 90% of every fare. This covers platform maintenance, trust & safety, and customer support.
When does the free period end?
Your first 3 months of driving on DoorRide are completely free. After that, the 10% commission applies to new bookings. No credit card required to start.
What does "Featured" mean?
Featured drivers appear at the top of search results and have a gold star badge on their profile. This means more visibility, more bookings, and higher earnings.
Is there a fee for parcels?
No listing fee for drivers. Parcel senders pay a fixed rate (Small R50 / Medium R80 / Large R120) directly to the driver. The 10% platform commission applies to parcel deliveries too.
